Where:
Splendora is north of Porter and New Caney, while being south of Cleveland. This makes Splendora far right of The Woodlands and Spring. I-69 is the main highway that runs centrally through Splendora. Splendora is about 37 miles from central Houston.

Why:

The space for land and country feel draws in people that are looking for space while being only 37 miles away from central Houston. There is room for new construction and plenty of land to grow, with most of the homes being on at least 1 acre of land. 

District Rating: 

B. Overall Splendora ISD rates as a B district, and scores as a C in many aspects but this is to be expected in many smaller town areas.


Nearby:

There are multiple parks in Splendora that are popular and even a sports designated park. There is an old town feel and for anybody looking for land and space, this might be a good place to consider looking into. There are community splashpads, plenty of food options, and a close proximity to essentials. Big Rivers Waterpark is a local attraction, as well as Grand Texas Waterpark and the Lake Houston Wilderness.
