WHY PEOPLE LOVE THE KATY, TEXAS

Where:
Katy, Texas is west of downtown Houston, is north of Fulshear and east of Brookshire, while being south of Cypress. Katy is located along I-10, one of Houston's largest highway systems. Grand Parkway Toll Rd. (99) also loops east of Katy and allows for access around all of Houston.

Why:
Many people choose Katy for the location and proximity to the Energy corridor, the medical center in Houston, and other major employers. It is important to note that the taxes are higher in Katy. Majority of Katy is connected through bike and walk trails, it has great walkability and has great schools.

District Rating: 
A+. Katy ISD rates number 15 as the "Best School Districts in Texas." Parents and students love the schools, and many neighborhoods even feature on-site school. There are no schools in Katy ISD that have less than a B rating.

Nearby:
The newest waterpark in Houston is Typhoon Texas and it is located in Katy. Katy Mills Mall is a huge mall that is also local, along with so many parks, shops and dining options.
