Fulshear is located in the northwest part of Fort Bend County. This city is located at the intersection of FM 3590 and FM 1093, and also a few minutes away from the Grand Parkway 99. In addition, Fulshear has located only an hour's drive away from The Woodlands, and approximately 40 minutes away from downtown Houston.

Why:

Fulshear is a very popular place to live for a variety of reasons, including its proximity to major shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. Also, the stunning landscape, which varies from rolling landscapes, marked by century-old hardwood trees, to rich prairies, as well as tranquil lowlands along the banks of the Brazos River, adds to the charm of this region. It is also worth noting that Fulshear is a very rich town with a population that is higher than the county's average in terms of income and educational attainment. This town has a unique history, and a distinctive landscape, and is just 20 minutes from Katy Houston.

District:

A+. Katy ISD rates number 15 as the “Best School District in Texas.” Parents and students love the schools and there are no schools in Katy ISD that have less than a B rating. Katy ISD has an A+ rating overall, with ten elementary schools, five junior high schools, and three high schools named in the overall top 10 schools for the entire Houston Area. Katy ISD is also in the top 1% of all school districts in the United States ranking #180 out of 10,758 districts.

A Rated | Zoned to the highly acclaimed Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD), all of the schools are located within the same general area, approximately a five-minute car or bus ride away. Children attend grades K-5 at Huggins Elementary; grade 6 at Roberts Middle School, which opened in  2019 to ease the transition to junior high; grades 7 and 8 at Leaman Junior High; and grades 9-12 at Fulshear High School.
