WHY PEOPLE LOVE CONROE, TEXAS
Conroe, Texas is slightly north of The Woodlands & Spring. It is located close to I-45 and about 15 minutes from the new Grand Parkway, and Hardy Toll Road, so you have access to any part of Houston with ease. Conroe is the seat of Montgomery County and is about 40 miles north of central Houston.
Conroe is bordered by the 22,000-acre Lake Conroe, Sam Houston National Forest, and W. Goodrich Jones State Forest making for the perfect utopia for the outdoor lover in all of us. The walkability in nature is a plus. Conroe is the fastest growing city in the United States, and that might just be because of its close proximity to nature, Houston, and The Woodlands. But I also think it is because it is the land of opportunity.
Artavia (brand new up and coming neighborhood: $300k - $700k), Barton Woods (homes in the $200s - $400s), Canyon Creek (homes in the $200s), Chase Run (low tax rate and homes in the $200s - $300s), Crockett Reserve (homes in the $100s - $200s), Deer Pines and Deer Trail Estates (large lots with homes under $400k), Fosters Ridge (The Woodlands school, new construction, $300s-$500k), Grand Central Park (brand new master planned community, fantastic proximity to The Woodlands and I-45), Harper's Preserve (master planned community with close proximity to the hospitals, The Woodlands, and I-45, lots of home options), Hidden Creek Preserve (homes in the $200s), Jacobs Reserve (homes in the $300s - $500s), Mackenzie Creek (many home options, smaller lots, homes under $300k), Madison Bend (homes in the $200s), Meadow Glen, Montgomery Creek Ranch, Stillwater (brand new master planned community next to I-45), Teaswood (my favorite estate neighborhood), The Meadows at Imperial Oaks, The Woodlands Hills(brand new master planned community north of Conroe, same developer as Bridgeland and The Woodlands), and Water Crest on Lake Conroe (quaint community on Lake Conroe).

With the lake bordering Conroe, and being in close proximity to The Woodlands, the possibilities are endless. There are 2 local wineries. An array of outdoor activities, W.G. Jones State Forest, 7 acre woods, Target, and so much more. Also you are just 35-50 minutes from The Woodlands.
