Deer Run Meadows is a neighborhood of homes in Richmond Texas. It is conveniently located off FM 359 with easy access to Westpark Tollway and Grand Parkway. This area gives you the peace and quiet of the country with all the conveniences of the city. Also, this neighborhood is 36 minutes drive from Houston Downtown via Beltway 8 and I-69.

People love Deer Run Meadows for a lot of reasons. Family members can have fun at a large covered open-air pavilion, a children's play area, and a park. With this property, you can have all the conveniences of a city while still living in the country. The neighborhood is surrounded by golf courses, parks and outdoor activities in the summer, so residents will never run out of fun. Additionally, residents of Deer Run Meadows will never have to travel far to find a variety of restaurants, schools, and stores. Deer Run Meadows is a friendly neighborhood located just outside the city limits in Richmond TX. It is conveniently located within seven miles of the historic town square and offers convenient access to local parks and hiking trails. The property also has a park, playground, and a covered open-air pavilion to complete the country vibe, while still being close to the city amenities. Located just a few steps outside the Deer Run Meadows neighborhood are parks and golf courses where residents have many opportunities to enjoy with their families. Additionally, this school is zoned to "Recognized" Lamar Consolidated ISD, where students from this community can attend.

District Rating:

A | Lamar CISD has an A rating overall, Lamar CISD campuses are designed with smaller enrollments (high schools are designed for no more than 2,000 students) to provide more opportunities for students to assume leadership roles and participate in campus activities. Lamar CISD also has sixth grade-only campuses (middle schools) which focus on the needs of pre-adolescents, providing a smooth transition to secondary schools. Lamar CISD is home to National Principals of the Year, Gates Millennium Scholars, National Blue-Ribbon Schools, Rodeo Art Grand Champions, State Athletic Champions, and a recent member of the comptroller's Honors Circle for financial and academic excellence. Lamar CISD has also passed four bond referendums over the past 15 years while maintaining one of the lowest tax rates in the Houston area.

You’ll be about 12 minutes from downtown Richmond, and 36 minutes away from downtown Houston, which puts you in proximity close to many great food options. There are a few local favorites in the area including Red’s Grill, 9er’s Grill, Lomonte’s Italian Restaurant and Bar, Ramble Creek Grill, and Ramble Creek Grill. Target is located just outside of the neighborhood, as well as Whole Foods Market and Kroger. Additionally, nearby parks such as Jones Creek Ranch Park, Wessendorff Park, and Typhoon Texas Waterpark are just minutes away.
